I want atmospheric worlds when I can MELT ice into liquid with thrusters or thermal weapons
Well, not liquid but beam lasers do melt channels into the rock. I'm sure they'd do the same to ice. I posted a pic about 10-20 pages back, but here's a copy:

Hmmm.....I got that x-ray vision. I'm not spending any mats on scanners!!!
A trippy trip.
Starts normally : non atmospheric planet with interesting surface structure:
Then I notice that another planet is so close it looks like it was a giant ball lying in neighbour's yard:
And there are some geological features. But something is off...
Yep, most of them are "floating" in air.
And giant ball seems to be watching us peeking over the fence:
So, I am officially a messiah, I had an interesting talk with the flying burning rock.
He told me that he should be a burning bush actually, but there were none on thins planet so he must have thought of some other disguise...

Looks like the tour ship left without you.
This is the bright side of this icy planet. It's dark and the terrain is harsh, I felt afraid for my life trying to navigate it.
