Dammit, decided to have a run out to an area I explored a long time ago starting in a system approx 1k ly out from Jamesons and south west of Sothis. Been there many times so just decided to fly there directly. On arrival I picked a planet to land on and First Footfall before I log out to watch the F1. OK, so, I can't bloody land, can I. Pop-up message tells me I can't land on atmos. planets unless I have an Advanced approach suite fitted! and it is 400ly back to Sothis. When was this added, been no problem landing anywhere until today......................grrrrrrr!!......................LOL.

This message should only popup if you try to land on an atmos planet in Horizons now. Sure you started Odyssey?
400 Ly . wow, certainly worth a ticket - no human could ever fly that far 
When I logged back to Odyssey it didn’t show the atmospheric landables at all.

If not, I believe you can buy an advanced unit from outfitting.
If it is standard fitment in Odyssey, why is it for sale alongside the standard unit in Odyssey? Bit of a pain if I/we have to swap it in all our ships though.

All of my ships across 2 accounts have it already fitted, so it must be a bug that you don't.
Isn't it strange. We have more options on these "computers" (which could all be put into one device instead of 3-4 different ones, including docking computers) than we have on SRVs (1 option)?!

Just fitted out a ground support MKIV with 4 srvs - and wanted to give each a different paint job for different terrain, but as the icons in the list stay the same, no thanks.You would need to use every ship you have in Odyssey to know this as other ship loadouts are not available. Did you do this?
In Odyssey my ship, a Krait Phantom, now shows the APAS unit fitted. I can't check the others. In horizons it just shows all ships just have a standard unit fitted including the Phantom. I note that a few others seem to be having the same problem.
The killer of course is the fact that this module can only be fitted in Odyssey and the outfitting there is .................errr...........poor. It also means that personally I will have to return to Jamesons and a couple of other systems/planets to do this.
Odyssey is certainly a frustrating beast at the moment.
Yup, I've used them all since the start. - I had them all on my fleet carrier at launch bar 2, one of which was the one I'm in now when I checked the outfitting.
