meh... it's no odyssey level terrible. Nor is it game of thrones season 8 level of bad.

The buildup to that final battle ...the battle itself was awesome. the escape how all along the watch towers was done up... it's a cop-out ...but it still worked out well enough to be engaging and exciting to experience. And if you aren't crying when the president is dying at the end .... well i suppose we are a bit cylon so that tracks.

let's say we disagree. US tv show and games have done the "deus ex machina" way, way too much. It's BORING. I didn't cry because they lost me half way through the 4th season.
