I live in this country and have to use dates on a daily base, thx.
Asians were smarter again.

I use dates in files names a lot in my office.
(Because a lot of scanned documents).
An I have learned, that the only time format that makes any sense is:

YYYY-MM-DD

because sorting alphabetically sorts also chronologically without using any "advanced files meta data ".

Don't know if Asians invented it, we use this sorting since I was a kid for computers.
