Pretty much. For example, for Odyssey, since it's all the fashion on this forum nowadays, the DLC has issues. I mean, that's obvious. But some people will go very far to say it's fine, and how it doesn't affect anybody. Even as far as saying that the poor review on steam is some conspiracy theory involving SC fans.
IE : the DLC is fine, it's your fault if it doesn't work for you
That's denial, and that's White Knights doing.
The opposite is doom cultist or hater. They are the people who say Odyssey is unplayable, Fdev should refund everyone, and nobody is playing the game anymore, since it's a dead game.
IE : the game is dead thanks to the DLC, and you are a liar if you say you still play.
Both are toxic, and in denial, in their own way.
