It's strikingly, indisputably random on any scale,
but there is also a distinctive, plausible, well structured and stable core layer too,

The office next door used to have a stripper pole where men used to pay to photograph dancing ladies.
It was all very discrete however the goings on could be viewed if you crouched under one of the drawing boards and watched through a part boarded up window.

it is not a belief system. it is reality. ...it's nature is testable and it can be observed... Us explorers have known of the Void ...but the masses have always busied themselves with remedial tasks and turned a blind eye....calling us Space Mad as they trucked biowaste to and fro.

Now, as the their world has gotten bigger without having to take any effort... they are starting to open their eyes as they travel on their tiny feet away from the structures of man. Staring into plant, after plant. On world after world, seeing the same dead expanses. Those who can persist, will glimpse the Void and know that it is very real and closer than they ever imagined.

Perhaps their Lord Brabus will protect them from realizing this truth of our reality. But for many that will come too late. Once the mind has been opened to the Void, you cannot unsee it. You are forever changed. Brabuses parlor tricks will no longer work on those who have seen the abyss staring back at them.
