State of the Game

I do hope that wasn't a dig at our glorious NHS? (I work for them... I'm not allowed to say anything bad or they get the horse syringes out again)
Not at all.

They saved my life in January when I had severe covid and a collapsed lung. When arriving under a blue light in A&E my o2 was so low the doctor basically told me to phone anyone I needed to, and to do it now. Draw your own conclusions.

My eight days on a covid ward were horrific, and I am full of admiration for all who serve the NHS - from the cleaners to consultants to porters to the nurses.

Both of my parents worked variously for the NHS, mum was an A&E nurse, and... well I'll say no more... but, health care free to all at their time of need, to their level of clinical need, is I believe a very good thing.

Now... back to the serious stuff, dunking bana... oops... sorry....

Oh don't spoil it!! A horse has a gentle whinny, it's a donkey you're thinking of that has an incessant abrasive annoying braying noise....
Now don't be so rough on everybody's favorite Latvian. He can be pretty funny, and I've yet to see him raise a point that wasn't valid.

He's like, how can I say it, if I needed somebody's input on a project, I might very well go to him. But I'd hesitate to send him to the pitch meeting to present our brainchild. ;)

o7 to you CMDR. I am very glad that you are still here to tell the tale.

Unfortunately, many didn't get this far.

Sorry for lowering the tone of the thread temporarily, but that needed to be said.

As an aside (erm... is there such a thing in this thread...)...

I'm saying nothing about how they came up with the Python design... but...
