they have a huge population of people who tend to look at facts and information as a threat. So not really surprising. on the plus side, they have really cheap movie sets and such there so if it's filmed in the US and not made by M. Night... it's probably got a few scenes in georgia.

All that talk of Russian tanks reminded me of my time in the army. Way back then we spent a lot of time learning and memorising the silhouettes of Russian military vehicles and planes, just in case the Cold War really wasn't over and we would, you know, have to recognise them.

Then when in the UN service in Croatia I encountered the same vehicles over the place, in nice UN white with black text and our pretty blue UN flag with the UN crosshair target on it.
