Not kidding. Pound for pound, crickets (which get the most attention for some bloody reason) have the same protein content as beef or pork and use 1/6 of the resources.

Of course, that would mean eating bugs. Totally grody, dude. Blech.
Grasshoppers in chocolate - but be careful to zip off the legs first, else they get stuck in you throat ;)

Oh have eaten insects, (if you like sea food, then crabs and lobsters are basically magic sea spiders) sometimes even deliberately, and actually think insects for food could be a sustainable farming model.

Oh, it's this parasite fungus that controls insects and then just "pops" growing out of their bodies.
Great reference to vege food, tasty mushroom, yummy!

I hope vegetarians can't catch it somehow, I would lose my favorite bashing target.
