Make buttons in-game please, not pop-up menus

Can the Turbolift/elevator/ transporter room just open the door when we click it? Why do we need a large pop-up window in the middle of our view to come up after we click the turbolift?

It would be great to see more of the buttons and switches in the game to be functional in the game and not only accessing things by the HUD or pop-up menu. Like the switches around us in the cockpit. That might be more work than FDev want to put into the "sim-light" ED.

That might be more work than FDev want to put into the "sim-light" ED.
Taking a look at the rest of odyssey, i would say that is an astute observation. :LOL:
 
Hangar has it’s own elevator.
Apex has it’s own elevator.
Frontline has it’s own elevator.
I’ve never understood why you need a menu to choose a single option?
Upon getting near the elevator it should just open end let you enter.
It would then deliver you to your destination.

If the elevators would be used for multiple destinations THEN it would be necessary to show a menu.
