State of the Game

What i dislike is the engineering coming with EDO - it seems to be pretty grindy and in the end you cannot even switch attachments - that is just intentional grindy game play.

It's insanely grindy.

I was playing for a few hours daily doing nothing but simple and fast on-foot missions where I could salvage all lockers/container and download data from every port for last few... weeks I think.

And all I managed to do in this time, was:
upgrade three weapons and two suits from lvl 3 to level 4,
have those weapons and suits equipped with one-two additional mods (one was already included when bought)

The forums are great, the game....not so great.

ED is great to think and talk about, its just when you load it up and then........you play something else.

Being still stuck outside the hardware wall of ODY, I still love the game. Just flying in space in EDH like I always did, even though I hate that I can't try the new stuff yet.

That's all I ever wanted since '84. That feeling of taking off in my space ship, being able to go anywhere, do anything, no script, no rails, no hand holding.

I still have that.

And I'm in space.

Do I want more? Hell yeah!

But I have this.

Yamiks made a video about how long it took to upgrade a single suit - he said 27 hours not including the effort required to unlock the engineers. If it takes him 27 hours, it would take me weeks - not going there, if it stays like this.

Yes it does. Partly... Looks more like the UI we got until now is more of a placeholder and another not finished thing....

I don't need panoramic, but I do have to increase the FOV to frankly ridiculous levels. Which introduces a pretty marked fish eye effect.

Which is not flattering at all. Even if I wear pin stripes.
