This is starting to feel like pulling teeth mate.
I don't care about bugs, they are just some funny pics. Is that more clear? I did try to explain my reasoning (so did the OP).

Real scale planet, real scale dithering!Lilly pads

Hmm.. I used to see this frequently before they fixed the "textures not loading at all" issue in one of the early patches. Obviously just that doorway texture isn't loading for you in this instance.I'm sure there used to be a door here somewhere!

been noticing the plume's also. They're pretty vile...
I'll just drop this here since the "Issue Tracker" is still merrily discarding reports.
What really irks me with that is how you can see the ship going high on its legs to deploy the SRV... but not consistently high enough that the SRV can get out, nor does it do the same when you approach. If the planet isn't ridiculously flat, it usually takes three times before the ship manages to land somewhere the SRV can drive under. YMMV. Landing gear not reaching the ground is a distinct part of how the automatic system fakes landings. The thing that kills me the most is disembarking from your ship on foot and notice how low-ride is the ship sitting on its landing gear. I usually touch with my head the underside of the ship - definitely a SRV would not be fitting there.
Then board and disembark in the SRV... Suddenly the ship is on a 2m higher-ride on it landing gear. The Srv fits comfortably under the ship...
The weird part si the fact that now the ship seems to be floating (most of the time), the landing gear does not even touch the ground anymore.
*(the ship mentioned is a DBX)
It's ever so convenient when it happens on a planetary scale too. I tried to visit an engineer, but their entire port had moved 3km underground. Auto docking would just yoyo without comment, while manual attempts got terrain alerts.I see this very rarely. The last one, that unfortunately I didn't make a screenshot from, was sunken in the interiors up to the hips. This effect was gone after rebooting the game. Something that's way more often happening to me is no mission givers when entering a concourse. This also can only be "fixed" by rebooting.
