There comes a time where you get limited results from whacking moles that might not exist if you continue down the line of development. It's a catch 22 for developers. Financial pressures mean that you can't stay idle to untangle a small handful of lines when the fish are going stale in the first nets. So at some point, the major team will have to stop what they are doing and get back to rowing towards the console release...

It's probably too difficult to speak of Powerplay in meetings, since it's commonly called "PP". Try to pronounce it, you'll see the problem quite quickly.

I'm pretty sure I know how development works.
I don't have any problems with the developers or anyone else.
My main gripe was and is: They now fixed a RELEASED software for over a month, didn't even fix much of the things people already reported in Alpha and they are still nowhere near something that I (read personal opinion) would call sellable or working as intended even roughly.
my Dev post thread was deleted. Luckily they can't find me here with my tin foil hat protecting me.
At this point, I'm actually going to step back from the forums for a couple of hours lest my disappointment at the 'Dev Update' bleeds into this thread.

Yeah, they screwed the pooch with this release, which puts them in the unenviable position of trying to fix some seriously broken stuff without trashing their timelines for ED and other products.
There will be some very stressed project managers running around FDev trying to square that circle right now, and something is definitely gonna slip or get dropped.
At least the dev update admits that they've got major problems, which is a step forward for FDev.
I really wanted to ask Arthur for a tldr version, but it would have only worked if I could have got post 2. I am disappointed, and may make a thread out of this important issue.
