Some of us refer to it as "Tantrum Thursday."How exciting!
I always loose bets, so it is very possible that it works this timeSucker bet, not taking it!![]()
Nope. Not falling for that old trick either. Next you'll be pretending to play pool really, really badly and ask me if I'm interested in a quick game.I always loose bets, so it is very possible that it works this time
I am really bad at playing pool, how do you know?Nope. Not falling for that old trick either. Next you'll be pretending to play pool really, really badly and ask me if I'm interested in a quick game.![]()
If the developer notes are any indication... I got a bad feeling about this. Some of us refer to it as "Tantrum Thursday."
You'll see why in a few hours.
Suuuuuuuuure you are!I am really bad at playing pool, how do you know?
I'll take one for the team and install it today - I'm supposed to be on holiday, although I do have a business meeting first thing (Such is life) !Thats why I install the Elite Update on Friday
I like the format much better than a stream actually. It's easily referable, set in stone on the forum and no dev has to waste valuable time for talking instead of developing to soothe the community's need for something more spectacular than a post.Morning, Val, and well met!
Just took a peek at the Dev Update thread, and quickly reconsidered that particular life choice of mine.
Thats probably the reason why nobody wants to play pool with me, how can I improve my pool skills when nobody wants to challenge me?Suuuuuuuuure you are!
The fabled wool-cat.Distinct lack of cats in the last few pages, so heres one representing me on holiday:

I agree. Admittedly, I DID make fun of the whole buildup to a promised dev stream only to have it pulled away at the last minute, because hey, they deserved a bit of mockery for that one. But on the other hand, I completely agree that it's much better to have it in written form, rather than having to sit through an endless stream of consciousness to make sure I'm not missing something.I like the format much better than a stream actually. A true conundrum that. Much like borrowing money over here. To borrow money, you have to have a credit score. To get a credit score, you have to borrow money.Thats probably the reason why nobody wants to play pool with me, how can I improve my pool skills when nobody wants to challenge me?
Also, all software developers, including, or especially my wife, like developing much better than talking...I agree. Then again, I've always preferred writing over videos/streams.
That odd obsession about doing the job you chose as opposed to talking about doing it.Also, all software developers, including, or especially my wife, like developing much better than talking...
