State of the Game

I mean, as a developer they could end this quickly.

Just have the stream and let it run while they are coding. I bet most people will tune out at minute 3, the rest at minute 5.
That would be great! :D
Looking at a totally focused face half-hidden behind a screen, the sound of the keyboard in the background and once in a while a hateful glance towards the camera signaling to go the [REDACTED] away.
Now that would be a real dev stream.

The word "performance" exactly is contained once in these notes - that's going to be fun. A impressive list nevertheless.
No - however :
  • AMD FidelityFX CAS has now been integrated, and can be adjusted on a slider in the quality settings menu.
  • An upscaling option that allows the Player to switch between FidelityFX and Normal has been added into settings.
Anyone know much about this. I've done a quick google, and it sounds impressive - also mentions it may work on NVIDIA cards !?

I think I have a video here somewhere of a friend and me coding while we were self employed from a surveillance camera's stance.

You can speed the video up, the only things moving are our fingers and the people around us.

It's another upscaling filter basically. The quality is (IMHO) far under the DLSS of NVidia but it works on all cards and looks better than normal supersampling.

Am I late for Cat Memes?

Optimisation
  • Various audio optimisations have been made.
  • Adjustments to scaleform texture updates to fix GPU stalls.
  • Fixes to the stability of the occlusion culling system.
  • Inner dock geometry and landing pads now have occlusion meshes.
This is one of those mindboggling examples that shows how unready the release was -
  • Inner dock geometry and landing pads now have occlusion meshes.
What do you mean they now have occlusion meshes? They should have had them before release, not a month or two later.

P.S. - I apologise for this on/off topic post...
