How do you measure fps in VR? there is a really handy utility on SteamVR called 'fpsVR' its not free (but its not much) and is extremely useful for tweaking settings measuring results etc

I just took a quick work break and edited my conan launch script to execute ED since launching directly thru steam is not allowing me to login with my other accounts.
the AMD upscaler is pretty spiffy.
Almost makes it look they updated the textures in the last 6 years. no noticable perf drop when enabling it.. but i didn't have time to jump into a roid field or land on a planet yet.
I did notice that gamma/hdr is off again like it was before patch 3.
paintjob looks closer to horizons on my paintjob anyway.
will have to wait until after work to really see if the roid field performance is better or worse.
Can only test and play with settings fully tomorrow. Got a night shift to handle today
i haven't bothered with VR since odyssey dropped. i have yet to be able to have a stable 90fps (capped) experience in normal roid fields, much less planet surfaces at 1080P.
No way it would be able to sustain it in VR.
And i'm not playing odyssey at lower quality settings than horizon to compensate for Fdev's crappy programming.

Such kebabs would obviously come with curry sauce, toast points, and a glass of milk (drugged if appropriate) - this would actually make for an excellent fast food place, putting your Kumo franchise aside!?

On a note closer to your heart, could the power of graphic design, and an excellent artist, come up with a Kumo meme starting a hybrid of Delaine and Mr T, over a slogan "we pita the fool" - I'd do it myself but I don't know the first thing about design software, so calling on you and @Erei for a race to the meme!!
(As an enticement, you already have Delaine as Ainsley, the world's sexiest dark skinned chef, so it might be easy?!)
Plus, it's gonna be super annoying to get steamVR working properly when i have to launch the game outside of steam because fdev changed the way the client deals with steam, again.
@Fdev//nobody - if you're going to limit the client to 1 logged in account at a time, add some command line arguments to your client to switch the client to the manually logged in user vs the steam/epic user something like /login would work. if no such user has been logged in directly to the launcher, it would prompt you to login.
You know, 5 minutes of coding so i dont have to nerd rage and write scripts to work around this idiocy

Works fine for me as long as i have Steam VR started before I start the game from the launcher (not the launcher/game from steam directly)
