Twice I now have accepted Restore Missions and once I arrived at the facility, the Mission is not being tracked. Also, the "Provided Power Regulator" is not automatically transferring to my suit inventory when the missions are tracking. Both instances occured in the Barnard Star system. With the first one being Restore Iyengar Analytics Lab. I did not even notice the mission was failing to track until after powering up the facility and disengaging a few Atmo panels. So I had to pull the power module and leave.

Confirmed. Logged out. Left the System. Does not matter. If you pick a restore mission. Make your way to the settlement/facility. Once you arrive, you will not receive any updates on the mission status. You may as well use this opportunity to turn on the power, loot the data, goods and Assets you need then reclaim your power module and leave. Watch out for the mercs and scavengers of course.

Edit: Though the 'missing mission critical item' warning is IIRC bogus. I always find I actually have the PR. I would write an issue, but they have enough more important things to fix already

True but the "missing critical item" message is a different issue. What I mean is that I have had 3 restore missions that will not track my progress as I complete the various tasks required by the mission itself. Meaning, once I place the power module in the receptacle in the power center, I will not receive any guidance(mission tracking) to let me know to now disengage all the atmosphere controllers in the various buildings. Usually once you provide power you are directed to turn off all the Atmosphere Panels in the buildings, once that happens you will get the "Leave the Area" message. Once you leave the area... You can go turn in the mission. None of that happens. In fact its like you just showed up to an empty settlement that you have no mission for. I.E. No Mission Tracking. Meaning its impossible to complete the mission right now. Thank you for the bug tracker link I will report this there. Cheers and o7.

The window progress mission is missing alltogether.
I also get the message "critical mission item missing" (it's in my ship's cargo instead of my backpack.
Also, the damn rats keep spawning and never stop.
After I've restored power and extinguished the fires the mission is still incomplete.
None of the progress is tracked.

I've commented and confirmed all the relevant issues I've found in the bug tracker, I hope this will have an effect. Restore missions are completely broken right now.
Had this and already updated one of the issue tracker threads, issue seems to be if have mupliple mission PRs (from previous failed/abandoned mssions) - it seems to to work on a FIFO method so when you disembark it loads the wrong PR into your backpack and the "critical mission item missing" message.
There seems to be no way to select which one to load, can load the lot but then it puts the wrong one in the housing as also can't select a specific PR.
Did an suit upgrade which used all my PR, took a Restore mission and worked flawlesy - will try taking two next, but will have to do them in the order I took them I suspect.

Mm not sure about it, I have zero PR at the moment, it doesn't seem to be related.
Also, when missions did work and I had multiple PRs in my backpack, it didn't seem to make a difference.
I have been to 3 different system/stations and there are 0 restore missions available.
