You can disable the DLC almost entirely by disabling the "disembark" button. All that's left is the low atmo planets, and I'm not sure they'll be disabled for non Odyssey player.
I didn't notice we had that now.Don't you need the Advanced Planetary Approach Suite to approach 'tenuous' atmospheres? If so that's the gate, no APAS for Horizons players.
