Newcomer / Intro What does ETIENNE DORN actually do with 25 Occupied Escape Pods?.

I mean, the guy looks creepy as heck, lives in a remote part of the galaxy in the company of robots who don't ask questions, and he wants a steady supply of occupied escape pods.
What in the Milky Way Galaxy does he actually do with them?

Asking for a friend.....

You know what he does with them

Might be associated with all the Evacuation Shelters that Palin had delivered for a CG all those years ago.
Reeducation camps ?

People in escape pods are legally dead.

He can do whatever he wants with them, and the worst crime he can be accused of is interfering with a corpse.

They're not actually dead. Just legally dead. For insurance purposes, taxation, probate, etc. This is why you can claim a kill bounty on a CMDR, even though they wind up in an escape capsule, still technically alive. But legally dead.

When someone revives out of an escape capsule, they have to prove that they're not dead any more so they can legally reclaim their stuff. Fortunately, the Pilots Federation holds all members estates in trust, so this streamlines the process.

LOL...all I can think of is the Monty Python skit from the movie...

The state of the art life support systems require some extreme stress testing to ensure their reliability. With that there will be some... turnover with the tester population, but no need to worry about that. All you need to worry about is getting that G5 Lightweight Life Support module.
