State of the Game

I don't like NMS too much, but what they do, they do it well. Rare bugs, lots of content, all free. It's "fantasy", especially compared to ED. But if you like relatively cartoony graphics and floating rocks and jumping pineapple, then it's very much OK.
And performances are certainly not an issue.
Oh that's nice to know, Thanks!

I go back to it on occasion (usually after updates) and play a little. It can be very pretty, but doesn't have much to engage a player like me for any length of time (I have around 400 hours over 4 years...)
But pretty - yea!

If I would see pink unicorns with green polka dots and little violet dwarfes happily singing and dancing in that location I wouldn't be too surprised. However, I would also call my pharmacist and ask him if he packed the wrong drugs for me.

I'd be calling my doctor to tell him it wasn't really doing it for me, so could he please double the scrip?
If I get this sort of colorful hallucinations I wouldn't dare to double the dose. I know what happens afterwards, and it includes tentacles, melting furniture and the whole crew of Hieronymus Boschs Garden of earthy delights (mostly the right side of that triptych) is getting involved. There is also screaming and shameful loosing of bodily fluids involved and then you wake up in an ambulance if you are lucky. BTW: never try to drink a thorn apple tea

So... Friday night?

Good times, man, good times!

When they have optimised the heck out of the game and you are able to play, I'd be honoured to have you join me for some diplomatic negotiations...
The honor would be all mine!

Time to show those [redacted] [redacted] some REAL diplomacy!

Edit: Also, I'm led to believe that upgrading one's diplomatic credentials involves quite a bit of diplomatically negotiating settlements into artful piles of rubble, and it just so happens that there are quite a few candidates for that out here that are perfectly suited for the purpose without leaving me with any moral qualms.

As if I had morals to begin with, but that's beside the point.
