I'm having trouble loading that issue to check it for some reason, but I mentioned the system location. I just checked at the populated system where I am currently (Synuefe EN-H d11-96), and the issue is still present for me five minutes ago.
You are doing good! Now, if I may, before moving on you should really focus on those perf issues asap, because this is what most unhappy CMDRs really resent (I'm not one of them, but I do agree perf is an issue for basically everything that involves a big structure).Greetings Commanders.
Today at approximately 14:30 UTC/ 15:30 BST we will be restarting the Odyssey servers to apply some server-side fixes. Downtime is not expected to be any longer than a few minutes.
This downtime will not affect Horizons servers.
I'll be around as usual to make sure things settle in comfortably with this update, so let me know here if you experience any turbulence.
- Restoration missions will no longer be incompletable when putting out fires.
- Missions to steal data from settlements will now display objectives on your HUD and the data will be available as intended.
- Salvage missions now display objectives on your HUD and items can now be found at salvage sites.
- Missions to take out settlement occupants will now register progress correctly.
- Fixed an issue caused by older missions conflicting with the latest update (this would have resulted in missing HUD objectives and being unable to progress once reaching the mission location).
- Fixed a crash caused by missions that would send you to non-settlement locations (this may take up to 12 hours to roll out).
- Commodities that are temporarily illegal because of an active Faction State can now be sold to stations that need them for repairs.
- Fixed an issue with Players rarely not being able to load into Horizons after playing Odyssey.
- Rebalanced the faction influence effects from repeatedly winning & losing various scenarios at Installations & Megaships.
- Adjusted Mercenary rank progression speed for Odyssey on foot players (it was noted by many as being too slow to progress prior to this update)

Thank you for the update! Some of these appear to address issues which explain some recent behaviour we've observed, so good to see these coming through.
I'm guessing people were unable to reach Elite in a week, so it has been "fixed"?

Both with SRV and on foot. Smashed them with the SRV turret from various angles to no effect. Got out and tried with my sniper rifle, also no effect.Ahyeh what?! I can't get it to load either....hmmmmm
Ok let's see what we can talk through here. Were you trying to forrage from it with your SRV or on foot? Were both ways failing for you (I actually don't think you can forrage from it on foot actually)
I also think it's imperative that the team is more dedicated to optimizing

Looking at old posts on the merc ranking progression here and on reddit, I was just reminded that part of the issues that likely contributed to the slow progression was what appeared to be a bug in registering XP hits (as in some kills counted, others didn't. Some CZs/missions counted while many other times it just didn't add to the rank progression.)
Confirm if this was what was happening and/or is part of this fix? I mean I would hate for the rebalance to fail because the root cause was a bug that stopped valid xp hits from counting.
Yes I posted just above the direct question but still no answer. I hope they have done something...No fix on Pirating megaship cargo bays...

The megaship fix is especially nice for the factions that have taken a beating due to the bugged NHSS spawns. Any progress on fixing that issue? I still haven't been able to do NHSS6+ in Horizons since odyssey has dropped, and it's essentially stopped me from playing entirely.
