I just want to point out this is a symptom of the developers ignoring their base and having no meaningful communication with them. Nerves will boil and increased hostilities will happen if there is no relief for it.
Yep. Doesn't make it okay though.I just want to point out this is a symptom of the developers ignoring their base and having no meaningful communication with them. Nerves will boil and increased hostilities will happen if there is no relief for it.
ED PvP at it's best.you lot will argue over anything
Hoping so, it shouldn't be in such a state while never being labeled as such officially though.I think the game will be great after all the fixes and patches - it’s Beta after all
WOW.Most recent 'abuse'
There is NO excuse for abuse in any form. Ever.I just want to point out this is a symptom of the developers ignoring their base and having no meaningful communication with them. Nerves will boil and increased hostilities will happen if there is no relief for it.

I am not condoning it just stating a fact. Do you remember when No Mans Sky first released? The developers recieved all kinds of abuse and death threats. It's not condoning the action by pointing out the fuel for that fire is exactly the same fuel for this one as well.To add to my post, that is in no way a threat on my part. Just a simple observation of human behavior. At least the community hasn't resorted to death threats unlike some other franchises.
Fascist!Don't discuss moderation actions. There are formal procedures to ask for moderation actions to be reviewed.
Not only this, but doing the opposite shuts all lanes to reasonable discourse. I’ve come across multiple threads where I would have chimed in but the insulting tone and sometimes aggressive language directed at the Devs made me rethink whether I wanted to participate in the thread. One can frame questions in a manner that is both polite and to the point - without resorting to abusive language towards others.
Fascist!
Not really, please don't ban me!
I'll just go back to 'State of the Game' while you're all busy hereOnly if you promise to behave (and leave the axe at the door)
No! I disagree.Heya @Arthur Tolmie,
Obviously this is about your recent Statement on harassment post
I want to firstly say I whole heartedly agree with you that personal attacks should not be tolerated and I feel for anyone (Dev or Community member) who's been on the receiving end of one.
I would like to ask, who does the 'deeming' and are there review processes that can be taken if someone feels they have been unfairly banned?
I know that this is not your intention, but used wrongly these powers could turn feedback into an echo chamber of "this is fine" because members of the community with valid concerns are too scared to come forward lest they be 'deemed'
Sincerely, Ben Moss-Woodward / Cmdr Eid LeWeise
I agree 100%No! I disagree.
There are always two ways to post about issues & criticism.
1. Provide a reasonable statement in a logical way that makes sense & explains the issue concerned
2. Go off half-cocked, ranting, whining & insulting everyone in Frontier about the issues an individual cmdr is experiencing.....
....It's not hard!!!
No it isn't, it's a symptom of people with no self control or sense of perspective letting their frustration about a computer game get the better of them.I just want to point out this is a symptom of the developers ignoring their base and having no meaningful communication with them. Nerves will boil and increased hostilities will happen if there is no relief for it.
