Rhinos can hardly be said to have been shortchanged… there are as many rhinos in the game as marsupials!…

Yea marsupials have gotten it the worse. I’m hoping we get an Oceania animal pack or more marsupials in general somehow
If we are talking about a shafted group of animals, its herbivores from cold bioms.
Right now we have 6, 2 of them camels, 1 deer, 1 pronghorn, 1 sheep and 1 bovine.

for sure I agree with you. We need more cold weather herbivores and rhinos weren’t the group I meant was shafted. I more meant that people tend to be ok with similar looking carnivores like leopards and point out there differences as a reason to be in game and don’t extend that grace to herbivores. My whole argument for rhinos is about education on the groups critically endangered species and it’s also a bit biased as I love the group a lot which is why I mentioned that in the OP.

Me, I loved having a black rhinoceros but for one reason is that there are black rhinoceros at the zoo gifted the fountain France and I love to reproduce the real zoo in the world that's why I want them but the Sumatran rhinoceros no thank you and besides I have never seen in a zoo. If it's yes tell me in which zoo have you seen?
They are not in zoos anymore they were in the Cincinnati Zoo for a while. I agree with you on the Black Rhino we have a lot them here and growing up they were my quintessential rhino

If they added the Black rhino in a "Endangered species" pack (like a 7+1), it would really question that inclusion.
Similar if they would revisit Africa with an animal pack.
Would it be a "subspecies" type pack, it wouldn't be a bad choice. I'd be okay with that.
The black rhinoceros just like all the other rhinos mentioned on the thread are their own species not sub species a subspecies would be the northern white rhinoceros and the southern white rhinoceros’s relationship under the broader “white rhino” speciesSimilar thoughts on more rhinos as well.

Reading my comment again, should've been more clear in the first place (and used a correct term).
Pronghorns aren't Antelopes and as the Name suggests, Dall Sheep aren't Goats. Maybe you want to edit it.
Also, we definitely need more Deer (hopefully one that can be in a Walk through Enclosure because that's what I've built a Enclosure for at the new Entrance of my japanese Zoo)
I like that their german names are forkram and forkhornwearer for their family

So clearly based on this thread I’m biased toward rhinos lol. It’d make my heart so happy to see another one. What animal groups that are already represented decently in game are you guys biased towards?

Personally i dont care what animals are added, aslong as they bring something new to the table, be it bringing representation to a new animal group, bringing something new for a continent or just being a cool animal in general.
If they give me new idears or oportunitys to use them, i take them.
I personally was by far the least excited for the rhino in the last pack, as of all of they animals they were the least diffrent from what we already have in the game and offering the least new building oportuinitys, but as we dont have an african rhino in the game they are cool in my book.
Same would go for a leopard or cougar, but they are okay, as they are iconic zoo animals and bring atleast somewhat something special and new to the game, or atleast expand meaningfully on what we already have.
But if i could choose between them and a goat hell yeah i take the goat or whatever other animal needs more representation or bring something new

It's the same with me and Wolves. I would love it if we would get the European Wolf. The 2 Wolves we already have in the Game are clearly North American Wolves. Some People claim the Opposite due to Zoopedia Errors but you can clearly see it in the Way how the Timberwolf looks that it is a North American Wolf Subspecies. But even though I would really like it, I hope that we'll only get it if the Europe Pack will be a Animal Pack because if not, it would replace another awesome Animal.
