I Just want to say

I own both SC and NMS and they just do not feed my space hunger. I have played Star Citizen for hours , the only thing I have accomplished is waking up in the bed. SC is like ground hog day in space. NMS is just not for me. I find it disappointing that so many content creators have jumped ship on ED. The only thing I personally need to enjoy ED is my imagination. As a five year old, I never needed a content creator to tell me how to have fun. As a kid who grew up playing with random house items and an imagination, I so appreciate the glorious sandbox that is Elite Dangerous. I shall continue cruise the void in my engineered FDL . No one is getting my tasty cargo ! :) I hope to see you in the black commanders. And if you love Star Citizen and No Mans Sky to the moon and back,
I say have fun my friend and enjoy yourself. But if you don't mind, Could you stop pretending like you're not angry with ED and stop crapping on it ? We wouldn't crap all over your new loves SC and NMS . That's all I wanted to say.
Thanks for your time. o7 Commanders.

I like NMS a lot but I tend to go "this is the best" for 48 hours then not play it for a couple of years. Which is fine. Lots of my favourite games are like that.

The ED forum is filled with people saying "I've played this game for 6000 hours so I'm totally qualified to tell you it's got no replay value whatsoever"!

It's like being on a football forum or a Doctor Who forum or whatever. It's where you go to find people who apparently hate the thing they're a fan of.

Is this Klingon? It sounds like there would be spitting involved in articulating, so it could also be Welsh.
It could be German, lots of spitting there... Achtung Baby!

As far as SC goes, yeah, pretty much the same. Even worse when you forget to interact with a space station and spawn in a city... It gets tiring riding the train. The spawning needs work for sure.

The flight model really works well with KBM and cries out for either dual sticks out a really good, wide range throttle with mid-range detents so you can properly reverse and running it with the TCS 1600m is quirky, still working on the best key bind system. I find the Decoupled mode is great, easier to use then F/A off for me except landing.

Missions are a bit sparse, but there are huge things in the works that will make this game amazing and some are not too far off. They are going to focus on the fleshing out the current missions before introducing more. I can't wait, they really have a nice flow to the things that you can do and they are generally very well thought through. The game does a great job of building on itself. The bugs are a bit of a pain and the laggy server can be bad. The navigation really suffers when the lag is ruling the roost. Some nights it's great, others, not so much. But teaming up with friends is a way better experience by far than Elite.

I haven't done too many ships, but I have an Avenger Titan and it's really cool. You can enter or exit from the cargo ramp or via the cockpit ladder. I use the ladder more, I love climbing into the cockpit, it never gets old, its part of the experience and feels natural. Again, the game does a great job of building on itself.

I personally own both NMS and SC, but am not playing either of them. SC is crap as usual, and have other games to play then NMS.

That said, I'm still angry at EDO, because it still runs like trash on my hardware, and it shouldn't, not according to the publisher. But it is good that it runs well enough for you, and all the others that enjoy it.

I shall reserve my right to crap on it though, until performance has been fixed. As my imagination imagines more then 30fps as playable.

This is how i enjoyed flying my ships in ED since i started playing, as i've said in a previous post, it's the merit of the players/community to make this game fun, not Fdev's.

And i'll be honest, i could simply ignore the content (is there any?) added in Odyssey and keep playing the same game i played before, but a) it's not possible to forget how Fdev made clear in their decisions they dont care about their customers having a good time and this is remembered in every stutter in fps, every small bug, every rhubard i stumble during the game play, and there are many. B) i've played a space game where the developer really commited to give fun to their players and you also can feel it all around, so that's not going to be forgotten either.

I must mention C) Elite Dangerous has the potential to be so many amazing, breathtaking things, but Fdev decided to make it a painfully grind game and it's no longer attractive to me either.

But like you, i respect who still has fun in the game and i wish everyone can keep doing what they love. Fdev is to blame.
