Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

I got up to see to Ker...doing my nursey bit. She's had a really decent sleep for a change, had her along when I went to the local island shoppe this afternoon and she managed a hesitant lap around the shelves with a walking frame before I had to take her back to the car. That's the longest she's been on her feet in 4 months, even with a walking frame, so it really wiped her out... I'm proud she even attempted it :)
I'm sure you are doing a great job of looking after her! 🍪🍪🍪🤗

Awesome that she achieved a trip to the shops already. That lady has some serious stamina!

Dawn is approaching 😣 Lordy knows how I'll cope today! Heat and Pain... Not a good combo! Wish I had Kerrie's strength...

Never gets too hot up here in the frozen north, reached a balmy (and cloudy) 13°c this afternoon as the rest of the world swam around in it's own perspiration. I almost had to take my dufflecoat off :)

Some interesting parallels with CIG/SC

By 2017, the studio tried to reign in its ambitions to focus on ship combat, and Skull & Bones was once again reborn, this time as a session-based shooter modeled after Rainbow Six Siege but with boats. This was the version that was revealed at E3 2017, but Ubisoft wasn’t ready to ditch dreams of a grander pirate exploration game just yet. It would still need a world and quests beyond a monetizable PVP grind. So in 2018, Skull & Bones returned to E3 with a PVE free roam mode called “Hunting Grounds.” Here, similar to The Division’s “Dark Zones,” players could loot hideouts, fight one another, or work together to take on more powerful AI opponents.

Anyway, so how is Theaters of War these days?

Sataball anyone?

Here is a recent interview from CIG Devs and Lead Techs directly involved with the project. CIG Devs are interviewed monthly and sometimes weekly on specific topics.

Im not familiar with the equivalent ED Dev monthly interviews. Can someone send me a link of your in-depth ED monthly interview channel?

Well, whether its a good idea to pull devs from their work for hours as a PR exercise is a good thing or not is a separate discussion.

But since you seem to be familiar with CIG's monthly and weekly marketing exercises perhaps you can directly answer the question about the current state of ToW rather than make me watch the video? You may recall, it was just a small mode that required just a few devs and was almost ready for release over a year ago?

Plus... if its got Jared on it.... ugh.

Can someone send me a link of your in-depth ED monthly interview channel?

PS: BTW, not sure why you're asking that or saying "your". Personally i've gone off ED quite a bit since the release of Odyssey and waiting for significant improvements. I'm mainly playing RPGs these days, mostly Kingmaker.

A fan of Larian Studios of course, because BG3 is shaping up to be a decent game, and their open development is decent.

I can link you their channel

and here is Owlcat's

As the video shows... Elements are released and implemented into main game-play.

Don't deflect please. When will ToW, the much vaunted separate mode, that was almost ready over a year ago and just required a small team, that will be used to inform balance in the PU, be released?

Have CIG issued a date yet?
