They have largely vanished since U5 and unfortunately we don't know when or if they will be back. There is the odd one showing up but nothing like it used to be.

You only get restore missions from the factions that actually own the settlements now, which means that if there aren't any offline settlements in your current system then you're unlikely to see any unless one of the factions there has one in a nearby system.

You can get other missions to abandoned settlements though, and can use those to find out where they are. Then you can go to those systems and check the boards there.

i actuly enjoyed them they were good when scavingers were there so my mk IV cobra filled with rockets BOOOM fun all round...lol

1) Go to https://inara.cz/nearest/ (or use galmap)
2) look for places in 'civil unrest', 'unfrastructure failing' and such.
3) Ideally, pick a place with many bases in this state.
4) Go there, missions will be generated throughout the day.

Alternatively you can do those bases without the mission at all. Just bring your own power generator, loot the place and take it out again. Seems to even count for the unlock.

Should mention that if you are in the Colonia bubble there is no need to do a search. There are none to be found. Zero, Zip, or as Spongebob would say, Negatory. So, if you want to update your Artemis suit and need to find Aerogel, you will need to attack non-mission settlements and destroy your reputation big time. This game is soooo screwed up its just not funny anymore. $40 bucks for a non-working game. What a waste.

You can steal from settlements without being detected. You can induce negative faction states. Or people there could have led the anarchy factions alone. Or you could buy a pre upgraded one, grabbed a few G3 Artemis suits myself.

Plenty of options, unless you feel there should always be an instant, easy, legal and local option for everything.

Besides, why even bother upgrading it? It's not as if those scary cacti are gonna jump you. :p

What? There are a ton of missions in Colonia. I've been working out of Tir and there are as many as I've seen in the bubble even before Patch 5. The things people post on here ...

Factabulous: Nope - there are no "Restore Missions" in Colonia. I'm not an azz that just posts anything true or untrue. There are thousands of people in ED and based on its stats, I am among the top 20 players in the entire game, so I know a bit or two about ED. This gives me the right to point out these facts. I have also submitted several requests for help. I have gone to an obscene number of sites including TIR and I don't see any - not one. Word is they dissapeared with patch 5. I added Odyssey right after Patch 5 - that could be a unique factor that some folks are unwittingly falling into and don't understand. Read the boards, there are a lot of folks exactly like me. Perhaps you have to be at a certain combat level or something? Name a site in TIR and I will show you the Mission screens I get.

Ian Skippy: Also, there are no Artemis Lvl 2 or 3 suits in Colonia either. I have been to hundreds of sites. There is a very good reason to upgrade - the upgrade lets you add extra options to the suit like longer battery, improved jump, better air reserve, etc... all these things are helpful when you are 25K LY from the nearest bubble and like to go out on foot exploring. Making a few undetected steals is not going to get you 25 Aerogels unless you want to pursue it for a decade. If You go in and wipe out a base you gett everything but your rep drops a bit each time. 2 or 3 times is Ok but 10 times and you get locked out. You need to be able to go in and get the Lvl 3 authority to turn off power for one.

Not as many as yesterday, but if I do those there will be more 🤷‍♀️

No, I get Support missions but none of them are Restore missions.

For example here are 12 support missions but none are Restore Power: View attachment 251499
... those missions don't even appear under support do they? In fact those are ship missions, not foot missions... are you looking on the correct mission boards? Restore Power missions won't appear on ship mission boards, just the concourse ones.

Look at the top Infiltrate mission.... Right above that you will see greyed out (because I am in the que) that this is the Support board in the Missions page.

There are never, ever, ever any Restore missions in Colonia when I play this game. Period. I am not delusional.

Yeah, but that's still ship missions, so you're still on the wrong board ...

Huh? There are different boards? You are saying the mission board in the Terminals are different? I guess I never looked at missions there because its just easier from the ship. I will look.
