Oooh, never heard of Warp War. Looks interesting.

Always wanted to play Web & Starship, picked it up on ebay a few years ago, but haven't been able to convince anyone else to play.

Have played Federation Commander with my son a few times though. Somewhat simplified version of Starfleet Battles. Great fun.

My all time fav spaceship board game is Star Frontiers: Night Hawks. Played the crap out of that and Space Hulk while stationed in Germany in the early nineties. Still own all of my originals for both.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker is a pretty fun zero G salvage game. It would be lovely to see some such mechanics is a larger-scope space sim, but there's a lot to be said for focusing a game (and playing something else when you have had enough of salvage!).

I spent a lot of my time after school playing Rebelstar Raiders, Rebelstar II, and, later, Laser Squad!
