Elite Dangerous: Odyssey Update 6

This AMD FSR sauce, so I have a 4K monitor and have been playing Odyssey on 2K res, so do I set this back to 4K and just play around with the different "quality" settings ie Balanced, Quality, Performance etc?

Exit to desktop and come back in - it appears to set itself up after first startup.
I see you've fixed it (y)
I can pick Ultra Quality, Quality, and Performance, can anybody pick 'Balanced' - whenever I click, it just goes to performance - am. being thick (Highly likely) ?

@sallymorganmoore, can you please ask about the 'Balanced' option in SuperSampling, it doesn't seem to be selectable - it just goes to Performance.
FYI - I'm really happy with 'Quality', but was trying to use all the other options for comparison.

My key binds are in the folder but game does not see them ???? What happened?
Do you have all of the peripherals plugged in that are in your controls? The game gets confused and selects the default control method if not. It also does when you swap between Horizons and Odyssey.

Either was you should be able to go into the controls and select Custom from the drop down menu.

It looks like I can buy a 7a PP for my DBX and store it... nice!
I don't know if this is working as intended but, egads, will this be nice for the Colonia CMDR's. I can't tell you how many times EDDB would tell me that module was stocked at an outpost that I needed but that I couldn't land at due to pad size. If I can fly there in a medium ship and by modules for my large ships? Glory be!!!

As a player with multiple accounts and typically doing heavy ship swapping in the most active two... purchasing straight to stored modules is huge. It's the time saver I never knew I wanted. No more making notes as to where things are for ship C will flying A and B and then hoping I get back that way soon... I just buy it now (YAY!)

AMD Super-resolution has now been integrated
I don't understand the purpose of this? I've just tried it in game, and all it does is give me a couple more frames per second at the cost of much worse graphics -- flickering, artifacts, graininess, are all worse.

So, I guess this is for underpowered machines to use? I've just got a GTX1660 running on High settings. This new setting makes things worse. So...what's the point of it?

Illegal interactions (Hacking, taking stolen/illegal items, pressing illegal consoles) now require a press and hold for 1 second to avoid accidental criminal activity.

Complete disaster! its more than one second...Can you make it optional? I know that I am stealing! :D
Tell your developer that timer is NEVER a good gameplay loop. We have enough waiting already!
The placement of "downloading is illegal action" shift all the item in data port, very poor UI experience....

They've changed the behaviour for looting stolen items, you have to hold E. God forbid they could have made this optional.

Found the Rage of the Week Topic!

Stealing from settlements is now painful. Its terrible to hold the button over and over and over. This needs to be hotfixed out, thank God I have all the items I need but poor sods who can now start the process with the improved performance. Its pure torture. :D

@sallymorganmoore this is quite killing, please either make it optional or remove it completely - clearing a big locker will be a real pita, especially when one has to do it while the NPC is not looking

Patch 6: the patch of blur in the distance.
And there is no option to disable this.
I'm on a planet losing sight Fix this asap please

Sorry if I missed it in the notes but was the increased outfitting storage implemented in this update or is it coming later? How much is it increasing to?

Hello!
Yes so a better version of CAS is integrated into FSR. It was recommended by AMD that we remove the separate setting.
I as player would like to have ALL the options available and to be able to set up what runs best on my PC and to my preferences.
So maybe this AMD FSR is better, but without having AMD CAS it anymore, I cant really check and compare!
It would prefer more OPTIONS f.e. to add AMD FSR WITHOUT removing AMD CAS.

Before I had 3 OPTIONS to make adjustmants 1:SS 2:AMD CAS and the 3:AMD CAS slider, now with AMD FSR I CANT adjust SS anymore
Balanced is not selectable at all!

For me this is a step BACK, NOT FORWART

Tested in a concusse on my ASUS (see specs below) this AMD FSR dont give this PC any fps gain 0% and lowers the sharpness..... so the only thing I see is a degradation of sharpness without getting anything in return.
Please give is the AMD CAS SETTINGS BACK and ADD AMD FSR for comparison

I'm using it on an RTX2060 Super -Using this, I now get good frame rates, and the image quality is excellent. I've only tried planetary approach / landing, and in station so far, as that was where I had performance issues (in station), everywhere else was fine.

I didn't even know that was a thing!

Wasn't intentionally not put in, sorry! So many there's always a little chance I might slip something. Sorry guys.
Could you enlighten me what this % means? I've searched through the patch notes and I can only find the entry about the shield % being fixed in place.
