Primate pack

Ok, so IMO, there need to be hella more primates. 10 would make a good pack, while another 10 are stretching it and maybe for either a part II or if Frontier has the heart to give us 20 primates for $10

  1. Aye-aye
  2. Black-headed spider monkey
  3. Black howler
  4. Celebes crested macaque
  5. Common squirrel monkey
  6. Coquerel's sifaka
  7. Cotton-top tamarin
  8. De Brazza's monkey
  9. Golden lion tamarin
  10. Golden snub-nosed monkey
  11. Gray mouse lemur
  12. Hamadryas baboon
  13. Lar gibbon
  14. Lion-tailed macaque
  15. Mantled guereza
  16. Northern plains gray langur
  17. Pygmy marmoset
  18. Siamang
  19. Vervet monkey
  20. White-faced saki

I think this can be easily narrowed down to "essentials".

For me a moderate list looks like this;
  1. Siamang.
  2. Hamadryas baboon.
  3. Bolivian black-capped squirrel monkey.
  4. Diana (or Rolloway) monkey.
  5. Lion-tailed macaque.
  6. Coquerel's sifaka.
  7. Aye-aye.
  8. Golden lion tamarin.
To cover the bases;
- A gibbon.
- A (true) baboon.
- Another common New World monkey.
- A tropical African monkey.
- A unique south Asian monkey.
- A more unique new lemur.
- A bizarre animal.
- A tamarin/marmoset that could still fit in a habitat.

I almost included the pygmy marmoset as an "exhibit" animal but we still have no reason to think Frontier's position on that has changed.

That'd be pretty much perfect

I still think the Aye Aye should be kept for a nocturnal pack.

I'd put the Colobus there instead

I would say the following would probably be my choices for a primate pack, divided up by rough grouping:

A gibbon - I would place the lar gibbon as my top choice, although I wouldn't say no to the Northern white cheeked gibbon or siamang
A true baboon - Personal preference here, but the Guinea baboon is my favourite and also the one likely to become most common in European zoos
A guenon - The Wolf's mona monkey would be my ideal species, although the Diana monkey, De Brazza's monkey and patas monkey are also good options
A colobine - I would probably go for the Francois langur, which is quite widely-kept and endangered; the Angolan colobus is my second choice
A New World monkey - A species of squirrel monkey would probably be my favourite, either the black capped or common
A callitrichid - Golden lion tamarin or emperor tamarin would probably be my top choices
A lemur - Coquerel's sifaka is probably the most unique, although I have recently also come to like the black lemur
A non-lemur prosimian - My top choice here would be the Bengal slow loris, which can be kept in outdoor enclosures and is the biggest of the lorises

I had an idea of it too! Hope my list counts lol
