If EDO is so disliked by people, why have my boring EDO youtube streams & snippets had over 1,500 views in the last 30 days?
... and they are boring, truly!

I can only speak for myself, which is to say that I find them interesting because they are purely objective in the sense that I'm merely an observer of the current state, no opinion inserted to try to convince me what I "should" think about what I'm seeing. And, most of all, they give me an idea of what the game looks like right now, and it looks a lot better already!

Only downside is, it makes me intensely envious, but that'll be corrected eventually. Then again, I'm not a Doomer™. Because I've been around since the beginning, so it ain't exactly my first rodeo. Am I disappointed, yes. Am I left without hope? Don't make me laugh. All of this I've seen before, and all of this I'll see again. I wish it would improve faster, but it's not the end of the world for me.

Oh, and I want to copy your DBX design, because it looks just perfect for what I have in mind for my first one

I give it 20 minutes before the mods remove it as part of FDev's censorship of any criticism.

LOL. That last bit made me laugh again. Having been a site admin of numerous websites I know exactly what the "constructive and legitimate criticisms that got CENSORED for no reason" posts looked like, so those "FDev is censoring negative opinions" posts just make me, well...

I've found myself on the bad end of moderation around here quite a few times over the years, and in all but one case I richly deserved it and the team were very helpful in letting me know exactly what I'd done that caused it when I asked through the appropriate channels. Only case that was "unfair" was because of a language misunderstanding and, once I'd talked to the great team about it, it was lifted immediately.

So the "I'm being CENSORED because I don't like the game" posts.... LOL.

I would have been banned so many times I would have lost count if that were true.

If you lay your hands on the double-engineered FSD it is easy to get to 75-ish jump. There is a lot of engineering for lightweight there!

I enjoy them, so thanks for making them! In the current environment of endless hyperbole, I really like to just see what it actually looks like when you can run it. Gives me a good idea of what direction the game is going in, and I've been only encouraged so far.

I think I might start a new thread asking why all the DOOM™mongers are so lazy and incompetent, why isn't there a Doom™ roadmap for advanced doom™ related gameplay and why there are no regular DoomDev™ updates being published in a timely fashion outlining many improvements and fixes to the Doom™ landscape....

I've had one week-long ban for "Naming & shaming" - which was a bit of fun on the forum with the lad I'd just been playing with - he got a month!

I really like to just see what it actually looks like when you can run it.

As I'm just 'exploring' until I get back to Colonia, I've knocked the AMD software off and am running native mostly Ultra, it is better than the upscaled version, but not by that much!

You can buy it from Human Tech Brokers... It was a CG award a while back, then a little later was available from Tech Brokers at a 'reduced' cost of mats, now I think it is a straight (but expensive in mats) purchase. Only available in C5 though.

ETA: Engineered for both Jump & Fast boot - can add the Mass Manager experimental also! Means it will reboot in a couple of seconds (nice) as well as gain a little extra range from that engineering, then add jump range and you have a G5 everything - it gains around 5Ly addition to the G5 base model.

Where has the craft gone? Years ago people used to do a lot more creative stuff. Where is the joy outside this thread?
