- animal lovers make a fuss
- in the beginning of the next episode you explain that because of insane EDO hardware demands you can't afford to spent money on your rats anymore, because you have to save for new GPU (have some huge cage with a lot or rats in the background - rent them or whatever), so you will have to kill them to save them for slowly starving.
- read a comment / email / whatever from one of your viewers who suggests that you should register a fund so people who want to save them can send money for this cause.
- play confused, decide to NOT kill the next rat in the last minute, make impression you are emotionally attached to your pets. End the stream prematurely because you have to rethink things
- paste the link to the rat fund in the next episode.

I can see it, yet, oddly, I still don't believe it.
Probably too sharp and not enough "depth" for modern taste.
But I hate DOF, fog, blurriness so "volumetric/atmospheric" impact on light and distant object is minimized or "ruined" if someone is fan of myopia in games

What stopped you from loading the game wasn't the quality of the screenshots. It was long held and deeply repressed frustration and resentment for wanting to like something the producers themselves do not and who unashamedly hate the players of so they troll them with expensive updates full of gameplay nobody asked for and a near infinite scale that is uselessly redundant.
That's still going to exist whether the ground looks slightly different or not.
You need Nvidia card that support Ansel filters or whatever they are called.
I use this one to counter the excessive darkness in EDO:
And this one to make all small details more distinctive (I think sharpness was at 20% when I took screenshots above)
In game FSR set to ultra quality
Nvidia DSR resolution is set to 1.3 of native screen "size" (x/y pixels)
Or to 1.5 with FSR set to quality.
It can be confusing because Nvidia shows AREA scaling, like this:

unfortunately for the kid in that meme, success was the furthest thing from him.
crippled by the crushing weight of having to succeed that the meme caused, he fell into drug use and couldn't hold down any jobs leading to theft to support his habit . after spending 5 years in prison he became homeless and ended up in an institution from which he never got out.
