I remember reading that decades ago. Same with the magnetic poles flipping. It will all happen because it's happened before, lots of times.
The most perfect example of human hubris I know of is this notion that we, insignificant insects that we are, can in any way compete with that giant fireball in the sky that we call "the Sun."

But I tend to avoid talking about it, because it would make a Swedish high school dropout upset. ;)

no it isn't - there are fruits and nuts in hearty indian food as well and it is really nice - I like pineapple pizza with ham or salami.

or think of chinese sweet and sour sauce - why not get sweet and sour by adding banana and mangos instead?

or think of arabic food - with figs and dates in it - even in hearty meals.
Mango chicken is nice with lime pickle :D

Sweetness in Chinese food cam come from many sources too. Sweet soy is useful.

we did an excellent job at destroying and repairing the ozone within the span of a few decades. we're hardly insignificant. It's less that we are too small to have an impact on something huge...than it is that it's much easier to believe our impacts dont matter than to have to address the reality that they do.

Except for tomato. We need it for pizza. But it's the only fruit allowed, everything else is heresy.

Indeed. Thank you Brother Erei.

Those things are fine. But pineapple on pizza is a crime against humanity. And tomatoes.

You keep believing that. I have my own seemingly irrational beliefs too. Doesn't mean we can't get along perfectly :)
