Could not enter Supercruise - no gear out and not mass locked

i just expirienced a bug i think. i was on a route wih my type 9 got interdicted and used my fighter to defeat the enemy after docking at the ship and retracted all gear i was not able to enter fsd. it said gear or cargo out wich was not the case. i took my fighter again and docked one more time ( i thought maybe some issue with the fighter bay). no luck. i rebooted my ship. no success. after that i decided to restart the game and tadaaa. i was able to enter fsd... hmm very strange. did someone else also had this problem before?

It has happened to me leaving a planet, that is I could not enter FSD after the count down and full throttle made no difference, if that is what you are describing. Everything was fine. After relogging, it cleared up and I was on my way. Posted on this forum about it and was informed by others that this issue has been around a long time and has never been addressed. It happens so rarely, I guess it is a low priority.

The same happened to me yesterday. Funny that I could activate the map and other things but not "Main Menu" (neither Esc nor my mapped button would work) and I had to eventually kill the game from the task manager. After that all good so far

Yes, I couldn't enter the Main Menu either, same issue. I'm not too disturbed about it, in 250+ hours, I encountered it once.

As for what system I was in, sorry, I do not recollect that.

Just had same issue in Marulta - couldn't depart planet whether for a jump to another system or just to in-system supercruise. Also found I couldn't exit to the menu either. I have never had this issue previously, so most unexpected.

Killing the task and logging back in seems to have rectified it though.

I've had that happen once as well. Exact same symptoms, including the bit about not being able to access the main menu. (All other keybinds worked normally.) If it's so rare and random that it only strikes most players once though, I imagine it'll be a real pain to track down - probably more effort than it's worth to fix.
