X55 HOTAS ghosting problem

This has started to happen since Odyssey was released. I run them through a powered USB hub. But every so often at inopportune moments the voice attack will pipe up about switching off shields, boosting and then switching fire groups mid battle. I know it's not random keystrokes but the HOTAS I have. Problem is when I play that other space sim (Star Citizen) I do not get this problem at all. No ghosting what so ever and my set up doesn't change.

So it is a problem with Elite Dangerous and the new update. Does anyone have any helpful hints or tips that could help me?

Odyssey definitely caused problems with ghosting on my X56 in earlier versions but since update v5.0 has caused none at all to me anyway. Things I have learned to avoid ghosting is always check that your Odyssey controls are set in the options screen before continuing to the game itself. And when it does happen, then reset your X55 in Windows and recalibrate in Logitech and remember to reboot your PC afterwards before restarting Odyssey. Unsure about the X55 but the X56 problem is in the throttle, I could tell immediately on the X56 as soon as I pushed the throttle forward it was like there was slight click and then it all went pear shaped. FD are probably aware of what causes this but I suppose due to legal considerations will never admit it I suppose.

Yeah same problem with me on the throttle like the X56.
I counted up the number of inputs the throttle has and it is over 32, I have recently found this is a problem with the Elite Dangerous game engine as it can't cope with any controller with more than 32 inputs.

Right now I feel like playing Star Citizen as it just works, and after the pointless death last night I had where in mid fight in a conflict zone the game switched off my shields and lowered landing gear as I was attacking a capitol class ship, my hull didn't last very long. I am starting to get tired of the bugs in Elite Dangerous.

i find a cough = boost. a breath = blow up ship.
i covered mic and lowered level to 44% mic gain 10%. still occasionally picks up a noise and interprets it as a command. i disable the commands that cause the most trouble like those 2.
can be quite exiting landing at a station :)

I have the X55 Rhino and have not had a problem like this, however have noticed problems with other games try the mode switch has worked for me in the past.
