Reminds me of my days of abusing my brain by ways I am not supposed to mention here.in elite, the entire thing could be no different than the existential crisis one has when you goto sleep and wonder if the same consciousness that went to sleep wakes up the next day or if it's a new one that just happens to have a perception of a continuous memory due to the residual activity of neurons from the previous consciousness from before going to sleep.
I was literally falling asleep as another person then I was waking up - the abilities of (my) brain to recover after just a few hours of sleep were amazing.
I could be genuinely "clueless, broken minded wacko unable to perform most of daily tasks" when I was "shutting down" and the next moment I could remember was me waking up, "rewired" more into the "backup" version if me, with all the excessive aberrations that could make my daily life too hard purged.
The only thing that was added were things I have learned about my brain, what went wrong, what exactly made me so ineffective, which parts of "self-reprogramming" tested last night(s) should I avoid in the future, etc.
