State of the Game

What is all this sensible discussion for? It would be acceptable if there was a cat.
Here is a sensible cat :

Sub : Sensible meow (it's a black and white picture, no sound obviously).

It's a difficult one isn't it? Fat and fit beats relatively thin and indolent, but then there are those that come with "oh my knee hurts" at 25 stone... no sh..urprise, Sherlock! But then where do we allow prejudice to stop? Smokers get COPD/cancer, alcoholics get liver failure... but I ride horses and have had some interesting dismounts needing hospital treatment, rugby players break bones, skiers break clavicles, even knitters get RSI... where do we draw the line at "self inflicted"?
Well, if you're fat and fit, but your weight damages your joints, I would say that you've done what you can and it should be seen as out of your control.

And yes, you're right about horseback riding and rugby! Health issues arising from your choices, and from the point of view of public costs they're worse than smoking because smokers tend to die a lot earlier. To my mind, the best solution is treat them all and not allow public policy to be judgemental (which thankfully is the case in most of Europe).

indeed - full english is good at any time of the day - in the evening eventually even better, because you have more time to prepare it properly.
As long as you cook in the right order AFE is quite easy- just remember to have a warm oven to keep the cooked items hot (with plates) and cook things like eggs last (unless you want them cooked solid).

Now the bigger question is: fried bread, toast, or hash browns?

It would scare a lot of people though. I was an expert aseptic product pharmacy technician and if I said to patients each syringe has a 5% margin of error due to printing they'd poop themselves- people think science is exact when in many cases its not.
especially in medicine, where a lot of diagnosis are more an educated guess than the actual truth - still, better than no idea at all, how to deal with it. i just don't like if a physician says, he has no real idea what it might be and then wants to give me something against it - against what, if he has no clue what it is - i don't need a placebo.

well, I have bavarian style pork sausages with it - and I like them roasted for a longer time - in the morning there isn't enough time for it. Hm, if something else than baked beans with it, i would go for hash browns or swiss rösti - but that takes as well some time to do properly.

Ok,ok, i see my full english is more a full european style english - but well, that's how I like it. Well, it's actually intercontinental even - recipes from europe, spices from asia and south america, pork, eggs and tomato from australia, mushrooms from asia and sometimes I have a bit hummus with it, which is north african. A quite intercontinental "full english"
