Fumeroles and lava sprouts.

I have been looking for lava sprouts and now I am at the planet that has fumeroles and lava sprouts. When I shot the probes I got filter to cycle between all the stuff that was found from the surface. I chose lava sprouts and always when I land on blue coloured area I find fumeroles. Does it mean that all things that are there are on blue areas and blue area just changes based on the filter? It just won't work for me.

And is there any way to get filter selection back after landing. When I take off to orbit again I can't get that filter option back.

Good morning,

After take-off and jump into FSD, you need to go back to the DSS to access the filter. However, you will find that all geological items have the same coverage currently, so changing the filter has no real meaning for Geological items. The filter has no effect on what you find down below. You should be able to find both by locking on to signals from Materials in the SRV Wave Scanner.

I've just discovered that I was wrong about the mapping being the same for Geological sites. Maybe it's a patch 6 thing, but I have discovered a world where they are different - not too much different, but different!
