He's back is turned. Surely that makes it pie-making time?

You did better than me in noticing that! I was looking and missed it - and knew I was the only one in Raider gear

But I think this little gem may be worth spending a few minutes of your precious time watching:
Premiers at 15:00 UTC (16:00 BST)
A certain Rat may be in it...
It went on for about 2 hours.Looks like it was a bunch O fun.
Any idea how that one CMDR got his orb out in front so quickly? Is it just a matter of practice? It went on for about 2 hours.
The first batch of orbs dropped by Buur all popped before we cleared the starting line.
He had to drop another bunch from landed & SRV for them to stay alive.
The cheese chase was total anarchy - I've not laughed quite so much since the last war in Carcosa!
it looks like he got into the orb by an accidental glitchAny idea how that one CMDR got his orb out in front so quickly? Is it just a matter of practice?
I think he got the hang of it quicker than the rest of us - it took a little while to find how to 'run' with the orb and not overtake it. As a group fun activity it ticked every box - the Buurs nicked the idea from @Alec Turner and turned it into a group event!Any idea how that one CMDR got his orb out in front so quickly? just now that I had got myself a folding chairwhat are you all doing in my head? GET OUT!!!
Probably gave him the advantage, in the long run.it looks like he got into the orb by an accidental glitch

Almost right...there's only really one positive intentional reason i can think for fdev to be so incredibly late with doing anything with the thargoids ....and that's if they plan on a total doomsday event to end the game and set the stage for some future version of the game and sunset this one...
Almost right...
Then, when all of the risk-averse and ancient PC owners have gone to play NMS or SC...
- They introduce Odyssey in a poor state with repeating patterns visible on some planetary bodies
- Many explorer types are offended and leave
- Combat players don't give a Rat's arze about patterns so stay
- More players with potato PCs leave because performance is so bad
Everyone has fun as the game evolves into what it should have been from Day 1! Playerbase grows massively as everyone is enjoying proper challenge.
- Frontier release the 'proper' version of Odyssey that performs as well as Horizons
- All CZs and AXCZs disappear overnight
- Anarchy systems become dangerous to fly through
- Wars happen in-system
- Thargoids, in supercruise, spotted, interdicting players as soon as they enter the system.
- Thargoid Hive ships appear all over the bubble.
But, according to @Darth Ender, we're all already within the void anyway.Careful, I can hear the void calling you....![]()

thargoids will be in their holding pattern until they're ready to sunset the game and then they'll just steamroll the entire galaxy. Then the servers will shut off.. and that'll be that.
Setting the stage for the game that they should have created but didn't have the experience or skill to do the first time (and simply can't do as a progression of the current one).
