how do you get to colonia or witchs head

i dont know how to get that far apart from jumping all the way there.i have heard that you can catch a lift with a super sized ship- but i dont know which ones.if some one could tell me which ships they aree it would help me a lot.thank you. bill

There are two mega ship ferry between Zende system and Witch Head travelling iirc on weekly basis. Check "Bridging the Gap" interstellar initiative for details

Colonia and witch head are very different places at very different distances. Fleet carriers go to colonia quite often - this one is heading out today, just dock on it.

That's the main way to do it, yes. For Witch Head, it's not all that far from the bubble, and it's probably quicker to jump there yourself than it is to look for a carrier going that way.

Obviously a longer jump range helps - with a 50 LY jump range (easily obtainable with a little engineering on a lightweight Asp or Diamondback Explorer) you can get to Witch Head in about ten minutes.

For the Colonia trip, neutron-boosting gives a massive one-off boost to jump range and you can chain them together. The record for bubble->Colonia travel is about 1h 15m for an experienced pilot with a carefully-planned route ... but with a fast ship you can probably do it in four hours just using the in-game neutron route plotter.

That one won't take you to Witch Head (Thargoids), but to a Guardian site in a different direction. Still worth a visit, of course.

Its 4 jumps to get to WHS from the bubble (and back), if you are using the neutron highway with a 75+ ly exploration build ship (Phantom, DiaExp, Anaconda).

Something tells me OP doesn't have access to that kind of a ship just yet, but you're not wrong.
