i propose a galaxy wide boycott of Kumo sourced food products until a time when a neutral third party food inspection agency can inspect kumo facilities and provide proof of their marketing claims and that the meat doesn't come from protein reactors purchased secretly from Sirius Corp.
A deal that would have it's origins in a little known relationship that a tiny failing pirate group had thru a failed marriage to a member of the Rui family. Archon at this time was a meak, wannabe pirate with no cred and a crew that was more interested in eating and drinking than actual pirating. So he hatched a plan. He would open a chain of burger joints and enter the food business instead, but he needed something that would put him over the top. Something that would set him apart and catapult him to riches and fame. That's when an unforeseen mistake in Sirius corp led to the manufacturer of millions of surplus protein reactors (devices where a tiny bit of source protein is provided and the machine replicates large quantities).
Archon made a deal with the Rui family to conceal the reactors by pretending to pirate them so sirius could collect on the insurance. This simultaneously gave Archon a lot of pirate lord credit ..needed to put some reputation behind his burger joint. He then re-invented himself and thru some help from the Rui family contacts, was able to fabricate a persona that appeared to be a vicious conqueror and pirate king. All the while, Archon has never successfully pirated a ship in his entire career directly. His crew has long disappeared, many believe killed to keep the secret.
The rest is history. Thru the burger joint Archon bankrolled a campaign of influence that led him to his position of power that he now has. All the while none under his control are aware of the ties he has to the Sirius Corp... that they're merely a subsidiary of Sirius Corp.
