Guests are running away from kangaroos

I have a weird problem with the guests in my zoo. I opened it for testing if everything works especially if my guests walk into my walkthrough kangaroo habitat. They go into the habitat but for some reason they immediately turn around and run out of the habitat like if an animal escaped.
So, after this I've built a small, walkthrough habitat for llamas just to test if there's the same issue but it isn't. For the walkthrough llama habitat everything works fine, it's just the kangaroos which are a problem for some reason.
Did anyone else ever get a similar problem?

Not sure why they aren't in the game. They're pretty common and though male kangaroos in the wild are often a hazard, in zoo's they're fairly common as a walkthrough species.
Typically it's the grey kangaroos that feature in walkthroughs, as they're less territorial and more docile, but red kangaroo walkthroughs do feature in a good few zoos so I think they should still do it in the game. Thankfully in Sandbox by turning off guest fear and escapes you can still do it, but it would be nice if it was a proper feature.

It's not a bug, it's a feature. Kangaroos are not walkthrough animals in the game.

Oh really? Didn't know that. I was pretty sure having seen walkthrough habitats for kangaroos in Planet Zoo in some YouTube videos.
But thanks for your answer.

As I said above, those videos were likely made in Sandbox, and the creator probably used the new Sandbox features to make it so the guests don't flee and the animals aren't marked as "escaped".

I can't find any kangaroo related deaths over the past 20 years that aren't car accidents lol. So yeah, theoretically a male kangaroo punch a person, but the whole "guest safety" argument really goes out the window considering giant anteaters are walkthrough animals, and they actually do kill people (and jaguars)

As far as Frontier is concerned, it goes out the window, yes, but their track record is inconsistent anyway.

There's no denying that grey kangaroos are more common in walkthroughs and the only difference aside from relative size between the two species is probably their docility, so that has to be the assumed reason. Either way it doesn't make much sense.

If you use path railings (or custom build fences) inside the habitat it's not an issue either. (That way you don't have to do sandbox).

The only problem you'll get is the animals can't cross the path anymore.
