In the special features part of the director's cut the bear tells a really funny anecdote about that scene. It seems that for their close up Chuck wasn't wearing any trousers. What a guy! Apparently he wanted to get in touch with his inner... bear........ uhmmm..... .....actually now I think about it...... OH! .....I guess that's why the bear was only shown in sillouhette and broke down crying....

I could have been mean and let Barreh loose. Barreh would make your eyes bleed with the pages and pages and pages of detailed thoughts, all the while triggering a mode war and several other sub wars like some fission - fusion - fission boosted nuclear warthread.
But this is a special thread, and such bloodletting would ruin its childlike innocence.
