State of the Game

Oh don't get me started on names for the love sausage, or even the clam of mysterious joy....I'll be here by myself all night mate!

You can't take it back now.... and you haven't seen my hairy hands yet....there is a whole episode dedicated to this medical problem!
Sorry fella. too late to take it back. I have no control over the server. So I guess the onus is on you to "forget" it ever happened...for the rest of your life.

Any chance I can hire that cat in the 3rd image as a gunner for my turreted weapons? What system can I find them in?

Moooooove over.

Soz, mistook you for Aussie heartthrob Craig McLachlan.

Oh now you've gone and done it - bloody earworm of the worst possible outcome...!

You misspelled something there, but I wasn't thinking of bottom access.

Dang that's a huge horse-rooster between that guy's legs

I've heard that before! ;)

And where is the George Takei gif when you need it?!

I love a good breakfast but not had an Irish one yet - what are the Irish specials?
1st was at my Scottish friend's mums house, 2nd in a Southwold guesthouse and 3rd in some place in Fort Worth in the mid 90's.

Worst was something that looked like an ash tray filled with milk in Amsterdam.
Come to think of it, it probably was an ashtray.
My best was a load of freshly baked pastries, fruit and coffee the morning after a wedding in Paris. Second best was a really well done pancake stack in San Diego. Third best... Eh, probably me doing marmite on toast, I make the bread how I like it and there's a reason I keep going back to it.

Worst was some soup in China. Black pudding soup. It's both why and how I learned to specify no meat and no blood in Mandarin.

So, you came here to state the obvious while trying to explain to me my own joke? Thanks!

Just in case you're being serious, my post about smear campaigns does not state anything to the contrary of what you said!

Finally, welcome to the thread: please stay off topic and do not discuss the state of the game here, there is a wealth of smear campaigns and opinion polls outside!
Well tbh I wasnt sure if your comment was serious or not. And I am venting in the ever so slight chance Frontier will see yet another dissatisfied player and get off their back side and do something. The silence is deafening and the vague "we heard your concerns and are working to fix it" is really looking like its meant to be some sort of pacifier than an earnest desire to fix things. Honestly I understand the FPS is a major issue for a lot of players but not ALL players. I'd say fix the problems that affects ALL players and move down the line. But apparently those with FPS issues are/were making the most noise and as we all know, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I'm just adding to the other squeaks.

Oh, we do get dangerously on topic occasionally. I've done so myself. Its good to talk about it from time to time. There are even spirited arguments sometimes.

I personally think that there are different levels of ire, against many legitimate issues, based on length of time with the game and state of "completeness" of the player's pilot as well as other factors, with the perspectives of the different sides seemingly being one of the snags in communication, maybe.

All sides mostly present valid legitimate points in a reasonable amount of time, though there is some amount of reading and thought required to follow along in a meaningful way.

But it is interesting to experience as its happening. I find the dialog, as a whole, informative, useful and worth considering. It is not simply a flame war.
