Mosasaurs able to hunt flying and ground creatures

I hope a marine reptile can do this, likely mosasaur, as a very rare event since it would require a flying reptile to fly over the lagoon and for the mosasaur to react and jump up for it.

I agree with that.
Maybe they're like a fish meaning they can't be out of water. So attacking the guests may be out of the question.
Just a guess though as I don't have "official" info on it. :)

We've already seen the mosasaurus can survive for short bursts outside water.

I can guess if someone gets too close to the edge they’ll try to deep blue sea Samuel L Jackson, or maybe they’d break the glass when viewing galleries are submerged Jaws 3 style (it might explain why placement is limited to specific hard points).

The fishes are released into the bloody water, I refuse to believe that they simply can't dive into the water and capture one.

Believe it. The Aquatics 'lagoons' function almost like the aviairy in JWE.

I would love for them to be able to do that, but that would require a complete overhaul of how water and the lagoons are constructed.

They should be able to catch fish in JW when the I Rex sets them free and the nanny falls in they dive in the water looking for fish

I agree, but again you need to totally redo aquatics and add volumetric water.

Lagoon construction currently prevents any diving into/skimming surface for fish for Arieal Reptiles.
