Information on artist that designed the alien life in the game?

I'm doing my thesis this semester and a big part of my influence comes the xenobiology and design of alien life in Elite. I'm looking for art portfolio's with concept art of the organics that appear in space and on the surface. Also any links to interviews with the art team regarding their design choices would be helpful. Basically, any visual information released from frontier where they talk about the science or art that went into developing the organic life in Elite!

Was just musing the other day if they took some inspiration from Ernst Haeckel and his radiolarian drawings for their void lifeforms… but ya would love to hear about their xenobiology… i suspect most of it is hidden behind plot though…

There's a "discovery scanner" video they did which explains how the coder made the way the thargon swarms move around the mothership. It'll be in their youtube channel

For increasing the horizon concerning alien life I recommend reading Lem's stories.
The Invincible, Solaris, Fiasko are excellent novels for that. The short stories not so much - they are more humourous.

Dev Diary 1 had some info on them, but I'm not sure who specifically worked on them. Probably various artists. I couldn't find anyone on Artstation claiming to have worked on them.
Thanks,
A great video not so much about art but alien life in general:

I guess by now a lot of current players haven't heard of that.
Oh man, thank you for that link. Even without talking about art, this was the type of info I needed!
