Summary
System: Haithis
Station: Crippen Port (Coriolis starport, large pads available, 558 Ls from main star, 116.58 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Hand in Combat Bonds after fighting for Haithis Purple Dynamic Group in Conflict Zones
Time limit: 16th September 33076 @ 06:00 UTC

Description
The Kumo Council has declared war on the Haithis Purple Dynamic Group for the latter’s role in supporting Neomedical Industries.
The pharmaceutical corporation’s recent campaign in the Haithis system enabled the mass production of onionhead gamma strain, scheduled to be available as a medicinal product from Alliance and independent markets. The drug is currently distributed in a handful of anarchy systems by the Kumo Crew syndicate.
CEO Olwyn Kendrick broadcast a call for help:
This terrifying attack by the galaxy’s most vicious pirates may pressure investors to withdraw, causing the entire project to collapse. If so, the vital materials that pilots delivered will be wasted. To prevent this, we urgently require support for our corporate partners against these criminals.
The Haithis Purple Dynamic Group intends to ensure the scheduled distribution of onionhead gamma strain as a medicinal commodity from Alliance and independent markets. It has offered rewards to pilots who help fend off the pirate assault.
Combat bonds can be delivered to Crippen Port in the Haithis system.
The two factions have set out seven-day campaigns, which will end when the top tier is reached by either faction or early on Thursday the 16th of September 3307.
To be eligible for rewards you must sign up as an active participant before handing in Combat Bonds at Crippen Port in the Haithis system.
Please note that if you have any crew members, a proportion of your combat bonds will be automatically assigned to them. These combat bonds will not count towards your personal contribution total, and your crew will receive the reward for these combat bonds when they are handed in. The proportion of combat bonds assigned to your crew will depend on their rank.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
Notes:
  • Competing with Kumo Crew CG
  • Crippen Port is at planet 1
  • Station services: Commodities Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel, Material Trader (Manufactured), Social Space

Is this the CG that was teased as having special (or worth hanging around the bubble for at least) rewards during this weeks live stream?
Maybe Archon Delaine gets removed from the game if he loses this CG.

I guess that's one way to deal with Rubbernuke's constant questions. 😅

Sorry must be dumb, going into the Conflict Zones in Haithis and there's not battles between Kumo and Haithis Purple Dynmaics. Please can someone point out what I'm missing (nicely please)

Out of interest, what would people consider an average return from a single High intensity CZ (in Horizons)? I just did my first one for this CG, and after 18 kills I ended up with about 2.5mil worth of bonds. That feels a bit low to me, and I seem to recall getting more when I did them during the Nova Imperium CG a while back.

Are there any particular tricks I should be using? I made a point of killing every T9 I saw, but other than that I was just killing any ships that were already taking a beating. Should I just ignore the little ships like Eagles and Cobras altogether?

You've forgotten, "How are you killing" is missing from that post so people cant tell..
First your build, have you changed it... corrosive ammo is still king...

Second is this is not an Empire war..
Ship class of empire and Indis are not the same. Empire has different ships than Indis, Alliance ships builds show up more when indi war ships...

Have you changed your killing style, are you getting braver after more time and not taking realy easy kills that had other AI lowered the hull/shields doing all the work lowers pay rate...
Are you in High zone, Indis don't have cutter captains, they have anacondas, are easier as they dont run class 8 shields so are classed lower pay..
Indis don't have any easy capital class ships to route...

Lots change when its indi Vs indi instead of a real power. of empire or fed...

Well, as I said, it was a high intensity CZ. My build doesn't affect the payout per kill, unless you get paid more per kill in a smaller ship, which I doubt. I've done another one since, and got around 2.2mil by the time the enemy ran away.

I'm running this CG in a Corvette, and I'm finishing off enemies much faster than with the Krait Mk2 I was using for the Nova Imperium CG. I'm not asking about people's bonds-per-minute, just asking what sort of payout would generally be considered normal, in an independent faction CG, for completing a high zone CZ with around 18 kills. I'm mainly trying to figure out if I need to be more selective about which ships I go after in order to get bigger payouts.

I seem to recall there was a multiplier for the Nova Imperium CG that got switched on at some point, which meant that kills were worth more than normal? I'm reluctant to put a lot more effort in to this CG if they're likely to do the same for this one at some point after I've already racked up a load of kills...

Archon and his pets are desperate and weak, hence why they crave any shred of legitmacy or power they can get their hands on. It never serves them well, as they're just as doomed as they were when they started all those years ago. Nothing has brought them security and nothing will save them from what really looks to be a ass-whooping this week.
Don't miss your chance to help push Archon's head under the water! Come to Haithis and take out the trash.

Now tier 1 has been reached does it look like the tier rewards for this higher than normal?

I'm still trying to work out why it was teased that people should hang around for this CG...

The rewards are definitely higher than previous CZ events, but not sure they're high enough to spark a massive push for higher tiers or Top 10 placing

I usually end up between 3-4M so I consider that a good run. T9’s don’t tend to give good pay but they are super easy to PP snipe. Stay away from vipers unless they are low health (especially mk4) as they pay little and are very spongy. I tend to ignore other small ships (except vultures). Asps are great kills as they go down easy and can pay a lot for their size. Vultures also pay well and go down fast if you catch their PP exposed.

Pythons can be spongy too but they tend to pay well so I like going for them, as well as the other medium assault ships. Also always go for the large ones and target their PP, although it can be annoying to kill an elite Vette and only get 38k, there seems to be a very large range of payment with them.
