New 25 essential habitat animals META-WISHLIST

Regarding support: I guess the year and a half is given and we can not count on dlcs after that, but if sales are good, I still don't think they will be impossible.

I think the better option than long support is support stopping to give room to PZ2 down the line.

Because I don't think a lot of new core mechanics (aside aviaries) will be introduced in this iteration, and similarly to JWE/2 they could use the first installment models to give us more animals from the getgo.

Ok, the animals I'm really missing in the game are as follows, in no particular order)

1. Crowned crane (great for combination habitats)
2. Ground hornbill
3. Prairie dogs
4. Lady Amherst's pheasant (or Golden or any of the other really colorful ones really)
5. Arctic Fox (or red fox, but really just fox is ok)
6. Maned wolf
7. Wild turkey
8. Any pelican
9. Moose
10. Any European animal (I'm not picky just give me something!!! to represent our continent)
11. Brown bear
12. Fallow deer
13. Eurasian lynx
14. Wolverine
15. Badger
16. Honeybadger
17. Asian small-clawed otter
18. Cougar
19. Fossa
20. Amur leopard

All of these (the birds included) I mean to be habitat animals

I suspect if we go 10 both the leopard and capybara would drop. They are nearly on everyone's list, but usually around the low-middle.

That's a thought but I'm not convinced everyone does their list in order of want. Which they don't have to of course, there's no rules to that. I do because I'm OCD.

I disagree with this, dependent on what the next two packs actually are. If the next dlc is only a 4 + 1, the overall impact on the list is potentially not that large. On the flip side, if the december pack is indeed aviaries, people will have a lot of birds they may want to start including on these lists. Since there's so many unknowns right now I would not place a bet one way or the other, however I will say that if we get a 4 + 1, and then aviary birds in any capacity, I would say the list should either stay at 20 or go up to 25, to account for aviary birds.

I get where you're coming from and I'm sure that's something that will be taken into account. You're right, flying mechanics added (or fully marine animals as well of course) would add a whole new level of possibilities of animals. But if it continues to be terrestrial or mostly terrestrial animals it makes sense to shorten the list after the next two DLC of course. As you pointed out, there's not much change after just one DLC.
