A thought regarding preorder bonus

Does anyone else feel like the preorder exclusive veterinary unit would look better with a yellow/black caution stripe than the current red/white one? Don't get me wrong, it still looks awesome and I'm totally preordering. I just think it would help with the TLW feel they were going for.

The only time I remember yellow and black caution stripe was on some of the toys. I never saw it in the movie.

I don't really see why it should be black and yellow since it's just a skin and not an actual vehicle from TLW.

But I am sure someone will "fix it" with a mod.

I'm just saying I think it would look nicer. Not that it would be more film accurate.

I agree it would look cool, but black/yellow has always been something Ive as associated with construction or other dangerous infrastructural work, and I tend to agree with red/white implying a medical purpose.

That kind of red and white striping is also used on those things that come down at rail road crossings in the US. I can't remember what they are called. But you usually hear a ding ding ding noise and it lowers down and has red and white striped pattern.

So it works both ways. It can be seen a medical but it also has a caution effect. Like stay back and don't get close or watch out.

I was just saying that since everything in the game is based on the movies and I don't remember seeing the black and yellow caution stripe used in the movies I don't see why they would apply it to the TLW vehicle skins.

I guess it would look better if you had nostalgia for the toys, especially the Match Box vehicles. I didn't have many of the TLW toys. I was 12 when TLW was released. I think I might remember some of the vehicles having the black and yellow caution stripes as stickers.

Someone will probably mod it to have the black and yellow caution striped considering that some people bought the toys and probably have nostalgia for that look.

They're called boom barriers.

You bet your sweet bippy I'm toy-stalgic!

I looked over the JP toy collection website and I saw black and yellow caution striping on one TLW vehicle and I had it as a kid. Then I saw several of the TLW Match Box vehicles that had the black and yellow stripes. It was also on the boxes for a lot of the toys. But JW seems to go with the red and white stripes. The few vehicles I saw with caution stripes used the red and white.

If there was a mod I might use it. Cause those Matchbox playsets and vehicles look really cool. I wish I had bought them. But I was older when TLW came out and moved onto video games. I would have probably just given them away cause that's what happened with the JP toys and TLW toys that I did have.
