So do you think Patreus would make a good Rene, him being married to Torval (Edith) while being with Yvette (ALD) and Maria (Aisling)?

"my knobs are flasheeing".

Weird fact but Ken Connor (Monsieur Alfonse) used to be a director where I worked in the early 90's.

As not to get into the fray, you could argue the first man in space was a tourist too- Gagarin was trained to operate things but everything was controlled from the ground- not too dissimilar to SpacePhallusOne.

Now, if will excuse me

Question, has anyone ever managed to open a Fray Bentos pie tin without having to resort to a hammer and chisel or angle grinder?

I've had mixed success with can openers but I can confirm that screwdrivers do the trick with minimal lacerations.

I can also confirm that the pie filling is still as sparse as ever with them only containing 3-4 small pieces of mystery meat.

Drill a hole and suck it out with a straw.
The 'meat' is tiny and the pastry toupee is a form of slime when raw so it'll come out easily.

and when the pastry is cooked it becomes denser than Artex and if cut right you could stab someone with it.

For the uncultured Americans here are two pictures of the tinned "pie" in its cooked and uncooked form. I'll leave it for you to decide which is which...

Its an easy pie to replicate though with rough puff and your choice of fillings. Beef in red wine is my DIY Bentos fix.
