JWE dinos in JWE2

That all depends if the X/74 species thing from the previews thing is true, where every hatchery shows there's only a total of 74 species among all types, land, aviary, and lagoon.

I really wish someone like a Community manager or something could confirm if this was just something in the dev build or final. Would definitely ease some recent worries.

We don't know... and they're likely not going to say... we just have to wait and see...
I'm not asking for a total number, I'm asking if the 74 across the board we've seen in early gameplay is accurate because if it is, there's going to be a lot of backlash when they promised 75+ creatures without Deluxe and the game doesn't even reach that number.

They by all means can keep the actual number(s) a secret. I just want to know if this negative assumption is true or not and/or why it's lumping all creatures from all different hatcheries together when the first game didn't count Pteranodons in the HCLs.

I could be wrong but wasn't it 74 species in the normal hatchery? If it was the same dev build like the first testing session, than the deluxe animals wasn't in, cause what we see in the title screen there was a buy the deluxe edition categorie.
If they arent in we had 71 species in the normal hatchery. But thats all from normal hatchery + Aquatic Hatchery and Aviary Hatchery there would be over 75 species in the game for sure.

It was X/74 in all hatcheries with all unlocked species as X, regardless of which hatchery they come out of. So Land, Air, and Aquatic all contributed to the 74.

Every dinosaur from the first game will be in JWE2 one way or another. So yeah, they will be all in the game. The only exception is Huayangosaurus which is part of the deluxe edition DLC I believe. Which is odd that that they took it out at all.

Oh you're right in every hatchery on the left top corner there is X/74 species library

Well I believe that all JWE Dinos (including the Hybrids) will eventually be in JWE2. I don't believe that they will all be available at launch. But the vast majority will. There may be a few species which require DLCs to bring them into JWE2, like Huayangosaurus with the Deluxe DLC.

Frontier said +75 species, I don't see why they could lie about that. Right now counting on all the JWE dinosaurs to return and if they don't reveal any more new species it would be 79 without counting the Deluxe edition.

Very very soon we will find out the full roster but that we only have three new dinosaurs and the rest are marine / flying reptiles makes one think that everyone from the previous game will return, perhaps with the exception of Ankylodocus, Stegoceratops and Spinoraptor which would not fit in this game in any case.

Finally there is the dinosaur theme from JW Dominion. We do not know if they will cut them from the beginning and release them with their canon skins when the film is released but I have seen an image of a Giganotosaurus resting so it could be that the Dominion thing was limited to the skins as they did with the RTJP DLC.

Very very soon our doubts will be resolved.

Or be confirmed. Honestly the more and more the issue seems to be dodged or glossed over with the blanket statement of “75+” when nothing they show or what anyone else shows seems to promise even that.
Honestly, I feel lied to and a bit ripped off.

You don't have to feel ripped off right now. It is better to wait for the official confirmation. Let's have a little patience that the game will come out very soon.

There are 79 species in the base game if you include every dinosaur from JWE 1 and 84 if you include the deluxe edition. In order to believe that there will only be 74 species in the game, you would have to believe that Frontier would delete dinosaurs from the first game, when they already have the models and animations, and in doing so would go back on their word that there will be more than 75 species at launch. I'd say there's close to a 0% chance of that happening.

With both Planet Zoo and JWE, Frontier undersold the number of species present at launch. I'd say that's much more likely here than overselling it.
